Naproxen - 1 A Pharma 250 mg for menstrual pain is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory/analgesic for the treatment of mild to moderate menstrual pain. It has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects. The tablets should not be taken for more than 4 days and may only be overdosed with medical or dental consultation. The recommended dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over is 1-2 tablets as an initial dose, followed by a single dose at 8-12 hour intervals. People with impaired liver or kidney function should not take more than 2 tablets per day. The tablets should be taken unchewed with plenty of liquid, preferably before meals. Storage should be below 25 °C and the medicine should be kept out of reach of children. Side effects such as gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, insomnia and skin reactions may occur.
