Alpha Lipogamma 600 mg is a medicinal product used to relieve paraesthesia in diabetic polyneuropathy. It contains the active substance alpha lipoic acid, which has antioxidant properties and protects the nerve cells from harmful influences. The recommended dose is 1 film-coated tablet, which should be taken about 30 minutes before the first meal. The medicine should be taken on an empty stomach as absorption may be impaired if it is taken with food. It should always be taken exactly as directed by the doctor or pharmacist and the duration of use depends on the individual symptoms and the course of the disease.
