Directions for use of OptiFibre Powder: - OptiFibre is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet). - It dissolves in cold and warm liquids without affecting taste or consistency. - One measuring spoon (5 g OptiFibre = 4.3 g soluble dietary fibre) is added to 200 ml liquid or 150 g pureed food. - OptiFibre should be used regularly for three weeks, but can also be used for longer periods. - Start with 1 scoop per day and slowly increase to 3 scoops per day or as recommended by your doctor. - The maximum daily dose is 5 scoops (25 g OptiFibre = 21.5 g soluble fibre). - OptiFibre should be stored in a cool, dry place and consumed within 8 weeks of opening. - The nutritional values per 100 g OptiFibre powder are: 816 kJ/kcal calorific value, 0 g fat, 6.0 g carbohydrates, 86 g fibre, < 1.5 g protein, < 0.50 g salt. - OptiFibre contains partially hydrolysed guar gum and may contain milk. - The net quantity is 250 g and the country of origin of the food is Germany. - OptiFibre is intended for use in cases of impaired function of the large intestine for nutrient absorption and excretion in diarrhoea (diarrhoea) and constipation (constipation). - Use during pregnancy and lactation has not been adequately studied, so pregnant and breastfeeding women should seek medical advice before taking it.
