Area of application

This herbal medicine is used to support the treatment of various liver diseases.These include chronic inflammatory liver diseases, liver shrinkage (liver cirrhosis) and liver damage caused by liver toxins.However, it is not suitable for the treatment of acute poisoning.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The preparation contains 266.95 mg milk thistle fruit dry extract, the extract being produced in a ratio of 36-44:1 with ethyl acetate 98% as an extractant.The active ingredient silymarin is contained in an amount of 156 mg.In addition, the drug includes the following excipients: carboxymethyl starch, sodium salt type A, microcrystalline cellulose, iron (III) oxide, gelatin, magnesium stearate (vegetable), corn starch, sodium dodecyl sulfate, titanium dioxide and purified water.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are allergic to milk thistle fruits or other plants from the daisy family.It is also not allowed to be taken during pregnancy.No prescription is required for this product.

Dosage

Always take the medicine exactly as described or as your doctor has told you.As standard, adults should take one hard capsule twice daily unless the doctor tells you otherwise.If you are unsure about the dosage, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

The duration of treatment depends on the type, severity and course of the disease and should be determined by the treating doctor.If the symptoms persist despite taking it, please consult a doctor.

If you have taken a larger amount than intended, poisoning with milk thistle fruits has not yet been reported.However, the side effects listed below may occur more frequently.In this case, you should contact a doctor who will decide on any necessary measures.

If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose next time, but continue taking it as prescribed.
