EMS Sinusitis Spray forte is a nasal spray for adults that is used to decongest and cleanse the nasal mucosa in rhinitis (runny nose) as well as acute and chronic sinusitis (inflammation of the paranasal sinuses).The spray contains tannin-containing green tea and plant extracts and is free of preservatives, components of animal origin and propellants.No prescription is required for this product.

Mode of action

EMS Sinusitis Spray forte has an active decongestant effect by triggering fluid leakage.The hypertonic glycerol solution is 6 times more osmotically active than seawater.The spray breaks through the biofilm, clears the sinuses and promotes the flow of secretions.Excess secretions including viruses and bacteria are flushed out, noticeably clearing the nose.In addition, the combination of glycerol and tannins forms a long-lasting protective film on the nasal mucosa, which supports the mucous membranes as a physical barrier in the defense against viruses and bacteria.
