Instructions for use of the article Pari ProtECT Inhalation Solution: Product characteristics: - Contents: 2.5 ml inhalation solution with 1.3 % Ectoin - Isotonic, sterile, free of preservatives - Ingredients: 1.3 % ectoin, sea salt, water Indication: - PARI ProtECT inhalation solution contains Ectoin, a natural cell protection molecule. - Protects against dehydration and moisturises the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract - Can be used to reduce inflammation in respiratory diseases Warnings and precautions: - Do not use on existing wounds in the respiratory tract - Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to Ectoin or other ingredients - Discontinue use immediately in case of hypersensitivity reactions. - Dispose of opened or damaged ampoules immediately. - Keep out of reach of children Pregnancy and lactation: - No data available on use during pregnancy and lactation - Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use Route of administration: - Inhalation with jet nebulisers, ultrasound or membrane nebulisers. - Follow the instructions for use of the nebuliser Dosage: - Up to 1 ampoule (2.5 ml) twice a day, as required. - Can be used without age restriction Possible side effects: - Negative effects on existing asthma possible - In case of side effects, stop treatment and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
