Summary: Pari ProtECT Inhalation Solution is a medical device containing Ectoin, a natural cell-protecting molecule with anti-inflammatory and membrane-stabilising properties. It protects against dehydration and moisturises the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract when exposed to fine dust, pollen, dirt or dry air in heated or air-conditioned rooms. It can also be used as a supportive treatment to reduce inflammation in respiratory diseases such as bronchitis, allergic asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It is used by inhalation with jet nebulisers, ultrasound or membrane nebulisers. The dosage is 1 ampoule (2.5 ml) up to twice daily. The inhalation solution is sterile, isotonic and preservative-free. There are no known interactions with other medical products or medicines. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor or pharmacist before use. Possible side effects cannot be excluded. Store at temperatures between 2°C and 25°C.
