Cetirizine Vividrin® 10 mg film-coated tablets are an anti-allergic drug indicated for the relief of nasal and eye symptoms in seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and for the relief of urticaria (hives) in adults and children aged 6 years and over.No prescription is required for this product.

Contraindications

Cetirizine Vividrin® 10 mg film-coated tablets must not be taken if you have severe kidney disease or if you are allergic to cetirizine dihydrochloride, any of the other ingredients of the drug, hydroxyzine or other piperazine derivatives.

Dosage

The recommended dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over is 10 mg, one film-coated tablet, once daily.Children between 6 and 12 years should take half a film-coated tablet twice a day.Patients with moderate kidney failure are recommended to take half a film-coated tablet once a day.The duration of use depends on the type, duration and course of the symptoms.

The film-coated tablets should be taken with water.
