Cetirizine Vividrin® 10 mg film-coated tablets are an anti-allergic drug that combats hay fever and relieves allergic symptoms.The active ingredient cetirizine dihydrochloride helps with nasal and eye symptoms in seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis as well as hives (urticaria).These tablets are a proven solution for allergy sufferers who prefer tablets.

One film-coated tablet of Cetirizine Vividrin® contains 10 mg of cetirizine dihydrochloride as the active ingredient.Other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, highly disperse silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, and the Opadry Y-1-7000 white film coating, which contains hypromellose, titanium dioxide and macrogol 400.

Cetirizine Vividrin® 10 mg film-coated tablets can be used to relieve symptoms of the nose and eyes in seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and to relieve hives (urticaria).

Dosage

The recommended dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over is 10 mg, one film-coated tablet, once daily.Children aged 6 to 12 years should take half a film-coated tablet twice daily.Patients with moderate kidney failure are recommended to take half a film-coated tablet once daily.The duration of use depends on the type, duration and course of the symptoms.

Intake

The film-coated tablets are intended to be taken with water.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you have severe kidney disease or are allergic to cetirizine dihydrochloride, any of the other ingredients of the medicine, hydroxyzine or other piperazine derivatives.

Patient information
