BoxaGrippal® cold juice combines the active ingredients ibuprofen (200 mg/10 ml) and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (30 mg/10 ml).This effective combination has a pain-relieving, fever-reducing and anti-inflammatory effect.Sinuses are cleared.

Area of application

BoxaGrippal cold juice is used for the symptomatic treatment of swelling of the mucous membranes of the nose and sinuses associated with headaches, fever and cold-related pain (e.g. sore throat and body aches) in cases of colds and influenza in adults and adolescents aged 15 and over.

You should only use this combination medicine if you have both a stuffy nose and pain or fever.If you only have one of these symptoms, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist about treatment with only one of the individual substances.

If you do not feel better or feel worse after the period listed below, you must contact your doctor: After 5 days if you are an adult.After 3 days if you are a teenager aged 15 or over.

BoxaGrippal cold juice contains the active ingredients ibuprofen and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride.

The other ingredients are: glycerol, xanthan gum, maltitol solution, polysorbate 80, saccharin sodium, citric acid monohydrate, sodium methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (Ph.Eur.) (E 219.), sodium propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (Ph.Eur.) (E 217), cherry flavor (contains propylene glycol, water, flavorings andsodium citrate buffer), purified water.

A measuring cup (marked at 10 ml and 20 ml) made of polypropylene for measuring the dose is included.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, this product should not be used.Please note the package leaflet.

Dosage

Recommended use of BoxaGrippal cold juice: Always take this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or exactly as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is: Adults and adolescents aged 15 and over: Depending on the severity of the symptoms, 10 - 20 ml every 6 hours.The maximum daily dose of 60 ml must not be exceeded.

Do not take more than the dose listed above.The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms.If you have an infection, consult a doctor immediately if symptoms (e.g. fever and pain) persist or worsen.Do not give the medicine to children under 15 years of age.It should usually be taken every 6 hours as needed.Leave at least 4 hours between doses.The medicine should not be used or should only be used with extreme caution in patients with kidney or liver failure.

Take BoxaGrippal cold juice preferably with or after a meal.Shake the bottle vigorously before use until the sediment has completely dissolved.In order to be able to measure the dose precisely, the pack includes a measuring cup.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have heart disease, including heart failure and angina (chest pain), or have had a heart attack, bypass surgery, peripheral arterial disease (problems with blood circulation in the legs or feet due to narrowed or blocked arteries), or any type of stroke (including mini-stroke or transient ischemic attack ("TIA")).

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have high blood pressure, diabetes or high cholesterol, or if you have a family history of heart disease or stroke, or if you are a smoker.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine if you have been diagnosed with psychosis.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have systemic lupus erythematosus, a disease of the immune system that affects the connective tissue and causes joint pain, skin changes and problems with other body organs.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have had seizures or behavioral problems after taking previous medicines that contain the same active ingredients.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you are elderly and have difficulty urinating.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you are planning to have an operation.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you are a competitive athlete, as the pseudoephedrine contained in this medicine can give positive results in doping tests.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine if you are scheduled to have blood tests.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have or have previously had asthma.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have had a stomach ulcer or stomach bleeding.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have had skin reactions after previously using medicines that contain the same active ingredients.

Anti-inflammatories/pain relievers such as ibuprofen may be associated with a slightly increased risk of a heart attack or stroke, especially when used in high doses.Do not exceed the recommended dose or treatment duration.

The medicine must not be used in children and adolescents under 15 years of age.Adolescents who suffer from dehydration are at risk of kidney dysfunction.

This medicine is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or use machines.However, since dizziness or hallucinations can occur in exceptional cases, you should take this into account if you want to actively participate in traffic.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

The preparation must not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
