Area of application

Omni Biotic Flora plus+ sachet is a food for special medical purposes that is used to support dietary management of disturbed vaginal flora (dysbiosis).This disorder can occur, for example, in bacterial vaginosis.The product can also be used if there is a lack of lactobacilli in the vaginal flora caused by hormonal influences, antibiotics or postmenopausal chemotherapy.

Mode of action

When developing Omni Biotic Flora plus+ bags, special care was taken in selecting the bacterial strains.Through a step-by-step selection process, four specific Lactobacillus strains were identified that have been proven to have a positive impact on the health of the vaginal flora.

The ingredients of Omni Biotic Flora plus+ sachets include maltodextrin, fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), bacterial strains and corn starch.The bacterial strains consist of four human strains with at least 5 billion germs per 1 bag (2 g) and 10 billion germs per 2 bags (4 g).These strains are Lactobacillus crispatus LBV88, Lactobacillus rhamnosus LBV96, Lactobacillus gasseri LBV150N and Lactobacillus jensenii LBV116.

Dosage

The recommended dosage is 1 sachet of Omni Biotic Flora plus+ (2 g) 1-2 times a day, which is stirred into about 1/8 liter of water.After an activation time of at least 1 minute, the mixture should be stirred again and then drunk.Taking it on an empty stomach is recommended.If you have persistent or recurring symptoms, you can take it before breakfast and before dinner.
