Area of application

Omni Biotic Flora plus+ sachet is a food for special medical purposes that is used to support dietary management of disturbed vaginal flora (dysbiosis).This can be the case, for example, with bacterial vaginosis or a lack of lactobacilli due to hormonal influences, antibiotics or postmenopausal chemotherapy.

Mode of action

When developing Omni Biotic Flora plus+ bags, special care was taken to select the right bacterial strains.Through a step-by-step selection process, four specific Lactobacillus strains were identified that have been proven to have a positive impact on the health of the vaginal flora.

The ingredients of Omni Biotic Flora plus+ sachets include maltodextrin, fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), bacterial strains and corn starch.The bacterial strains consist of four human strains with at least 5 billion germs per 1 bag (2 g) and 10 billion germs per 2 bags (4 g).These strains are Lactobacillus crispatus LBV88, Lactobacillus rhamnosus LBV96, Lactobacillus gasseri LBV150N and Lactobacillus jensenii LBV11.

Dosage

The recommended dosage of Omni Biotic Flora plus+ sachets is 1 sachet (2 g) 1-2 times a day, stir into approx. 1/8 l of water, wait for at least 1 minute for activation, stir again and then drink.In the case of persistent or recurring complaints, it is recommended to take it before breakfast and before dinner.Taking it on an empty stomach is recommended.
