Directions for use of the article Pyolysin Wund- und Heilsalbe: - Indications: Pyolysin Wound and Healing Ointment is used for the treatment of superficial wounds, such as abrasions, cuts, lacerations or scratches. It has an antiseptic and painless effect. - Mode of action: The ointment strengthens the body's own defences in the wound area and promotes wound healing. It consists of a natural active principle of pyolysin culture filtrate and the synergistic active principles of salicylic acid and zinc oxide. - Dosage: Pyolysin Wound and Healing Ointment is applied in a thin layer to the wound 2 to 3 times a day. In the case of a lower leg ulcer, the ointment is applied once a day after cleansing the affected skin area. - Contraindications: The ointment must not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients. - Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Use during pregnancy is not recommended for safety reasons. During breastfeeding, the ointment should not be applied to the breast area. - Advice: Before use, it is essential to read the medicine in the package leaflet. Great emulsion for the treatment of dry skin! Especially excellent for tattoos.

I was recommended the cream by my GP a few months ago. An ingrown hair had become very inflamed. After applying a thick layer of the cream and fixing it with a plaster, the worst was over in just a few days. Since then I have also used it on small cuts or rough skin areas. I can only recommend it. I can only detect a really minimal odour.

An excellent wound and healing ointment. However, the intense odour is disturbing, probably due to the preservative, which not only preserves the cream, but also indirectly supports the healing (germicidal) effect on the skin in the case of small lesions.

I ordered the ointment because I needed some help for an inflamed area. The ointment is a product with live cultures that accelerates the healing of wounds, especially festering ones. The product has been around for decades. What can be perceived as annoying is the odour. I can recommend this product,
