Directions for use of the article Pyolysin Wound and Healing Ointment: - Pyolysin Wound and Healing Ointment is used to treat superficial wounds such as abrasions, cuts or scratches. - The ointment has a unique 3-fold effect that strengthens the body's own defences in the wound area, has an antibacterial effect and promotes wound healing. - The ingredients of the ointment, such as pyolysin culture filtrate, salicylic acid and zinc oxide, have a wound-healing and antimicrobial effect. - Pyolysin Wound and Healing Ointment can be applied in a thin layer to the affected skin area 2 to 3 times a day. - The duration of application depends on the type of complaints and/or the course of the disease and should not be longer than 3 weeks without medical advice. - The ointment should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients. - The ointment should not be used in children under 12 years of age. - Use should be avoided during pregnancy and should not be used on the chest area during breast-feeding. - Pyolysin Wound and Healing Ointment should be kept handy in every medicine cabinet. - Opened tubes may only be used for 6 months after opening. - If the symptoms do not improve sufficiently after one week of use, a doctor should be consulted. - Interactions with other medicines may occur, so any medicines already in use should be reported to the doctor or pharmacist before treatment. - The package leaflet should be read before using the medicine.
