Mode of action

Contraindications

Dosage

Recommended use of Livocab direct nasal spray for allergies: When using Livocab® direct nasal spray for the first time, hold the spray bottle with the opening pointing upwards and pump several times until a fine spray mist is created.When used afterwards, the spray bottle is usually ready to use straight away.

Please blow your nose carefully before using Livocab® direct nasal spray.Because it is a suspension, the nasal spray must be shaken before it can be used.Then remove the protective cap from the bottle and tilt your head slightly forward to use.Then spray twice into each nostril.While spraying, breathe in through your nose.After use, put the protective cap back on.

The recommended dosage for adults, adolescents and children aged 1 year and over is 2 sprays per nostril twice daily.If the symptoms are more severe, the dosage can be increased to 2 sprays per nostril up to 4 times a day.The duration of application depends on the type and course of the symptoms.You don't have to consider a time limit.

Intake

1) Blow your nose carefully before use.

2) The medicine is a suspension.Please shake the bottle before each use!

3) Remove the protective cap from the bottle.

4) Before using the medication for the first time, hold the spray bottle with the opening facing up and pump several times until a fine spray is created.For subsequent applications, the spray bottle is usually ready to use immediately.

5) Tilt your head slightly forward and spray twice into each nostril.

6) Breathe in through your nose while using.

7) After use, put the protective cap back on.

Patient information

Particular caution is required when using the drug if you suffer from impaired kidney function.If you have kidney dysfunction, you may only use the medicine as prescribed and under the supervision of a doctor.

Driving and using machines: The medicine generally has no influence on concentration and attention.When using the drug, complaints such as fatigue, fatigue, exhaustion, dizziness or weakness have been reported in individual cases.These can also be caused by the allergic symptoms themselves.In such cases, the ability to drive or use machines may be impaired and caution is advised.Please note that alcohol can further impair your ability to drive.

Pregnancy

Breast-feeding: Unless your doctor recommends otherwise, you can use the medicine while breast-feeding.

Notes

After opening, Livocab direct nasal spray can be used for another 12 weeks in case of allergies.

Other

Since the drug is mainly excreted via the kidneys, careful dosing is indicated in cases of renal dysfunction.
