Cetirizin axicur® 10 mg film-coated tablets
Cetirizine dihydrochloride is the active ingredient of this medicine, which is used as an anti-allergic drug.It is suitable for adults and children aged six and over and helps relieve nasal and eye symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and hives.Cetirizine axicur® 10 mg tablets are also used to treat allergy-related symptoms such as swelling, redness and itching of the skin.
Active ingredients and ingredients
Each film-coated tablet contains 10 mg cetirizine dihydrochloride, which corresponds to 8.42 mg cetirizine.The other ingredients include microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, lactose-1-water, macrogol 6000, vegetable magnesium stearate, corn starch, pre-gelatinized corn starch, talc and titanium dioxide.
Contraindications
Do not take this medicine if you have severe kidney disease or are allergic to cetirizine dihydrochloride, any of the other ingredients, hydroxyzine or other piperazine derivatives.
Dosage
Always take this medicine exactly as described or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age should take one film-coated tablet once daily.Children between 6 and 12 years should take half a film-coated tablet twice a day.Patients with kidney failure should adjust their dose accordingly.If you feel that the effect is too weak or too strong, please contact your doctor.
Intake
The film-coated tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of liquid.
Patient information
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine.If you suffer from impaired kidney function, difficulty urinating, epilepsy or are at risk of seizures, please ask your doctor for advice.It is recommended to avoid taking the drug and alcohol at the same time.If you are going to have an allergy test, please ask your doctor if you should stop taking the medicine for a few days before the test.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.Taking the drug should be avoided by pregnant women.Cetirizine passes into breast milk, so you should not take it while breast-feeding until you consult your doctor.
