Cetirizin axicur® 10 mg film-coated tablets
Cetirizine axicur® 10 mg film-coated tablets contain the active ingredient cetirizine dihydrochloride, which is used to relieve allergic symptoms.Due to its good tolerability, the active ingredient is also suitable for year-round use for people with dust and pet allergies.The tablets are also used to treat allergy-related symptoms such as swelling, redness and itching of the skin, known as hives.No prescription is required for this product.
Areas of application
Cetirizin axicur® 10 mg film-coated tablets are suitable for use in adults and children aged 6 and over for hay fever, year-round allergies such as dust or pet allergies and to relieve hives.They also help with symptoms such as sneezing, runny and stuffy nose, itchy and watery eyes, and rash.
Active ingredients and ingredients
Each film-coated tablet contains 10 mg cetirizine dihydrochloride, which corresponds to 8.42 mg cetirizine.The other ingredients include microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, lactose-1-water, macrogol 6000, vegetable magnesium stearate, corn starch, pre-gelatinized corn starch, talc and titanium dioxide.
Contraindications
The medicine must not be taken if you have severe kidney disease or are allergic to cetirizine dihydrochloride, any of the other ingredients of the medicine, hydroxyzine or other piperazine derivatives.
Dosage
Always take the medicine exactly as described or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age should take one film-coated tablet once daily.Children between 6 and 12 years should take half a film-coated tablet twice a day.Patients with kidney failure should adjust their dose accordingly.The duration of use is determined by your doctor.
Intake
The film-coated tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of liquid.
Patient information
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine, especially if you suffer from impaired kidney function, have difficulty urinating or have epilepsy.It is recommended to avoid taking the drug and alcohol at the same time.If you are going to have an allergy test, please ask your doctor if you should stop taking the medicine for a few days before the test.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.Taking the drug should be avoided by pregnant women.Cetirizine passes into breast milk, so you should not take it if you are breast-feeding until you have consulted your doctor.
