Instructions for use for LOPERAMID axicur 2 mg tablets, 10 pcs

Loperamid axicur 2 mg tablets are a medicine used to treat acute diarrhoea in adolescents aged 12 years and over and adults when no other therapy is available. The recommended dose is 2 tablets for adults and 1 tablet for adolescents aged 12 years and over as a first dose, followed by 1 tablet after each unformed stool. The maximum daily dose is 6 tablets for adults and 4 tablets for adolescents 12 years and older. The medicine should not be taken for more than 2 days unless prescribed by a doctor. Loperamid axicur should be taken unchewed with liquid. Children under 12 years of age should use other dosage forms. Possible side effects include gastrointestinal discomfort, dry mouth, headache, tiredness and dizziness. The medicine should not be taken if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, have certain intestinal conditions or have other contraindications. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should also not take the medicine. Before taking the medicine, one should be aware of interactions with other medicines.
