Levocetirizine-ratiopharm 5 mg film-coated tablets are used to treat allergies. They help to relieve the symptoms of allergic conditions such as hay fever, year-round allergies such as house dust or pet allergies and chronic hives. The recommended dose for adults and children 6 years and older is 1 film-coated tablet daily. Levocetirizine-ratiopharm must not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients or in severe renal insufficiency. In the case of impaired kidney and liver function, a lower dose may be recommended. The tablets should be taken unchewed with water.
