Instructions for use of article "Refluthin bei Sodbrennen Kautabletten Fruchtgeschmack" - Refluthin chewable tablets are a medicinal product for the fast and lasting relief of heartburn and acid-related stomach complaints. The chewable tablets contain mineral acid buffers and plant-based protective substances from the prickly pear cactus, which neutralise excess stomach acid and form a protective film on the oesophagus and stomach lining. They can be taken at the first symptoms and are well tolerated. The instructions for use recommend taking them after meals, a dosage of up to 4 chewable tablets per day and a maximum duration of use of 30 days. If symptoms persist for longer, a doctor should be consulted. The chewable tablets contain no preservatives or artificial colours and are gluten-free and lactose-free. They should not be used if there is hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the ingredients. The chewable tablets may interact with other orally administered medicines and should therefore be taken 1-2 hours apart. People with diabetes should note that one chewable tablet contains sorbitol and may have a laxative effect if consumed in excess. Storage should be cool, dry and protected from heat and light.
