Antistax® extra vein tablets are a product to support vein health.It contains dry extract from red grape vine leaves as an active ingredient.This medication is used to treat symptoms of diseases of the leg veins, known as chronic venous insufficiency.Typical symptoms that can be alleviated include pain and heaviness in the legs, varicose veins, nighttime leg cramps, itching and swollen legs (leg edema).

Antistax® extra vein tablets are used for tired, heavy legs, weak veins and varicose veins.They help repair, strengthen and protect the vein walls.The product is particularly useful for complaints such as pain and heaviness in the legs, nighttime leg cramps, itching of the legs and leg swelling (edema).

Active ingredients and ingredients

Antistax® extra vein tablets contain dry extract from red grape vine leaves as the active ingredient.One film-coated tablet contains 360 mg of this extract, prepared with water as the extractant.The other ingredients include colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, talc, titanium dioxide (E 171), iron(III)oxide (E 172), microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, croscarmellose sodium, calcium hydrogen phosphate, hypromellose and glycerol tristearate.

Contraindications

Antistax® extra vein tablets should not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to red grape leaves or any of the other ingredients.Due to insufficient data, use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.

Dosage and intake

The recommended dosage is 1-2 tablets once daily, which should be taken whole with water in the morning before breakfast.It is important to take the tablets regularly at the same time of day.Antistax® extra vein tablets can also be used together with compression and support stockings.
