Baldriparan Strong for the Night is a herbal medicine that is used to relieve nervous-related sleep disorders.It contains high-dose valerian root extract, which accelerates falling asleep and promotes staying asleep without causing habituation effects.The product is available without a prescription.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each coated tablet of Baldriparan Strong for the Night contains 441.35 mg dry extract of valerian root in a ratio of 6.0-7.4: 1. The extract agent is ethanol 70% (V/V).The other ingredients include maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate (vegetable), colloidal silicon dioxide, sucrose, arabic gum, talc, macrogol 6000, povidone K 25, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, carnauba wax, calcium carbonate, shellac, refined castor oil, bleached wax and the dyes titanium dioxide (E 171) and indigo carmine (E132).

Mode of action

The ingredients of valerian have an anti-anxiety, calming and sleep-inducing effect.They relax muscles and improve sleep quality.The exact mechanism of action is not yet fully understood, but studies have shown that valerian root extracts can improve sleep time and sleep quality in nervous sleep disorders.

Application instructions

The usual dosage is one coated tablet, taken about half an hour to an hour before bedtime.If necessary, another tablet can be taken earlier in the evening.The tablets should be swallowed whole and with sufficient liquid, preferably a glass of water.It is not intended for use in children under 12 years of age.Patients with liver dysfunction should consult their doctor before taking it.

Side effects

After taking preparations made from valerian roots, gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea and abdominal cramps may occur.The frequency of these side effects is not known.If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.

Important notes

Baldriparan Strong for the night contains sucrose (sugar).Patients who need to follow a diabetes diet should consider the sugar content.The product should not be stored above 25°C and should be kept out of the reach of children.No prescription is required for this product.
