Desloratadine-ADGC® 5 mg film-coated tablets contain 5 mg desloratadine per tablet as the active ingredient.The other ingredients include calcium hydrogen phosphate-2-water, microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, talc, magnesium stearate, hypromellose 2910, macrogol 400, titanium dioxide and indigodisulfonic acid aluminum salt.

Desloratadine-ADGC® 5 mg film-coated tablets are an anti-allergic drug used to treat allergic reactions.They are used in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over to relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis and urticaria.

Dosage and intake

The recommended dosage is one tablet once daily, swallowed whole with water, regardless of meals.This medicine is for oral use.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse before taking this medicine if you have impaired kidney function or have a history of seizures or a family history of seizures.This medicine should not be given to children under 12 years of age.

If you take the recommended dosage, this medicine is not expected to affect your ability to drive or use machines.However, it is recommended that you avoid activities that require mental alertness until your personal response to the medicine has been established.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.Taking desloratadine is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.Data on male fertility/female fertility are not available.
