Ingredients of Vividrin Azelastine 1 mg/ml nasal spray solution (pack size: 10 ml): The active ingredient is azelastine hydrochloride 1 mg/ml.The other ingredients are: Hypromellose 2910, sodium edetate (Ph.Eur.), citric acid, sodium monohydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate (Ph.Eur.), sodium chloride, purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, Vividrin Azelastine combination pack for hay fever & allergies should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use of Vividrin Azelastine combination pack for hay fever & Allergies:

Recommended use of Vividrin Azelastine 0.5 mg/ml eye drops: Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and children aged 6 years and over can instill 1 drop in each eye twice a day (morning and evening).If the symptoms are severe, this dose can be increased to 1 drop per eye 4 times a day.If you are exposed to allergens (grass and flower pollen, house dust, etc.), the eye drops should be used regularly until the symptoms disappear.Overall, the treatment should not last longer than six weeks.

Recommended use of Vividrin Azelastine 1 mg/ml nasal spray solution: The recommended dose for adults and children aged 6 years and over is 1 spray in each nostril twice a day.The nasal spray is suitable for long-term treatment; there is no time limit for use.

Vividrin Azelastine combination pack for hay fever & Allergies should not be used in children under 6 years of age.For use with nasal spray: If you tilt your head back too far during use, you may experience drowsiness and a bitter taste as a result of increased absorption into the body.On the use of the eye drops: Even when used as intended, immediately after instillation into the conjunctival sac, vision can be impaired and thus have an impact on the ability to drive and operate machines.You should therefore wait until your vision returns to normal after the instillation.

Vividrin® Azelastine eye drops: Unless otherwise prescribed, instill 1 drop in each eye twice a day (morning and evening).If the symptoms are severe, this dose can be increased to 1 drop per eye 4 times a day.Bend your head back and gently pull your lower eyelid down.Now drip 1 drop of Vividrin® Azelastine eye drops into the middle of the lower eyelid.It is important to ensure that the drip attachment does not come into contact with the eye or skin.Release your lower eyelid and press your finger lightly against your nose from the inner corner of your eye.Blink slowly several times to distribute the drop over the eyeball.Repeat the process on the other eye and close the bottle with the screw cap immediately after use.
