Directions for use of the article Femannose N Granules: Femannose N Granules is a medicinal product used for the prevention and supportive treatment of cystitis (bladder infection) and other uncomplicated, bacterial urinary tract infections (UTIs). These conditions mainly affect the bladder and urethra and are most often caused by non-pathogenic bacteria that find conditions to adhere and grow on the bladder wall and urinary tract. Femannose N contains the active ingredient D-mannose, which effectively prevents pathogens from adhering to the epithelium of the urinary tract, which in turn reduces the virulence of the bacteria and can thus prevent the recurrence of infections. Taking Femannose N can relieve the most common symptoms of lower urinary tract infections when caused by Escherichia coli bacteria. The medical product can be taken together with antibiotics as they differ in their mode of action and can thus lead to a synergistic effect. The recommended dosage is one sachet per day for prevention and varies for supportive treatment. Intake should be continued for a period of one month. There are some warnings and precautions when using Femannose N, such as consulting a doctor before use and not exceeding the recommended dosage. The medicinal product must not be used in children under 14 years of age and should be kept out of the reach of children. Femannose N should not be taken for longer than 30 days and medical advice should be sought if symptoms persist. The product should be stored in a dry place below 25°C. In addition to D-mannose, the composition of Femannose N includes other ingredients such as fructose, sucralose and flavourings. It is recommended to take Femannose N between meals and to drink sufficient water to promote urination. Femannose N granules are vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free and preservative-free.
