Synofen 500 mg/200 mg Film-coated tablets are used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe pain. They contain the proven active ingredients paracetamol and ibuprofen. The combination of both active ingredients provides a 3-fold effect, which enables fast and long-lasting pain relief. Synofen is gluten- and lactose-free and vegan. The tablets are well tolerated and can be taken by adults aged 18 and over. When taking it, it is advisable to take the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration needed to relieve symptoms. Synofen is an over-the-counter medicine available in household quantities.

Dosage and use

Adults take one film-coated tablet a maximum of three times a day, preferably with a meal and a glass of water. There should be at least six hours between each dose. No more than six tablets should be taken within 24 hours. Synofen is not suitable for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. It should not be taken for more than three days. If symptoms persist or worsen, a doctor should be consulted.
