Directions for use of Ibu-Lysin Dexcel 400 mg Film-coated tablets: - The active substance in these film-coated tablets is ibuprofen-DL-lysine (1:1), which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. - These film-coated tablets are used to treat mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache and period pain, as well as fever associated with colds. - It is recommended not to use for longer than specified in the package leaflet for pain or fever without medical advice. - The tablets contain 400 mg ibuprofen as 684 mg ibuprofen-DL-lysine (1:1) and various excipients. - The dosage for adolescents from 12 years and adults (over 40 kg body weight) is 1 tablet every 6 hours, maximum 3 times daily. - The tablets should be taken with liquid, preferably with a glass of water. - If taken with food, it is recommended to take the tablets with sufficient liquid. - Prolonged use of painkillers may cause headaches and impair reaction time. - Side effects such as gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, dizziness and hypersensitivity reactions of the skin may occur. - Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using this medicine. - Use should be avoided if you have certain pre-existing conditions or allergies, so consultation with your doctor is recommended. - Dosages higher than those indicated in the package leaflet should not be used. - Storage should be according to the instructions and the medicine should be kept out of the reach of children. - This medicine is available in the form of film-coated tablets and is manufactured by Dexcel-Pharma.
