Synofen ratiopharm is an over-the-counter medicine approved in Germany. It is suitable for counteracting a wide range of various mild to moderately severe pain conditions in everyday life. Each Synofen tablet contains the active ingredient duo of 500 mg paracetamol and 200 mg ibuprofen. The manufacturer has deliberately avoided ingredients of animal origin, gluten and lactose.

How are Synofen ratiopharm pain tablets taken?

Synofen should only be taken by adults aged 18 and over. The recommended single dose is one tablet, up to three times a day as needed. After taking the tablet, wait at least 6 hours before taking the next dose. Do not exceed the maximum dose of six tablets in a 24-hour period. This is equivalent to 3,000 mg of paracetamol and 1,200 mg of ibuprofen per day. The Synofen tablet is best swallowed with a meal and a glass of water.

What should I bear in mind when taking this medicine?

In self-medication, the painkiller must not be used for more than 3 consecutive days. If the medicine is needed for more than 3 days and the pain does not improve or even gets worse, you should consult a doctor for diagnosis. Always use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration needed to relieve symptoms.
