Directions for use of Paracetamol HEUMANN 500 mg Tablets Paracetamol HEUMANN 500 mg Tablets are used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, period pain and/or fever. It is suitable for adults, adolescents and children aged 11 years and over. The recommended dose is based on body weight and is usually 10 to 15 mg/kg KG as a single dose, up to a maximum of 60 mg/kg KG as a total daily dose. The tablets should be taken unchewed with plenty of liquid. A total daily dose of 2 g paracetamol must not be exceeded without a doctor's instruction. There are certain groups of patients in whom a dose adjustment or a longer period between individual doses may be necessary, e.g. in the case of liver or kidney dysfunction.
