Loratadine STADA 10 mg tablets are used to treat symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as hay fever, as well as hives of unknown cause, also known as chronic idiopathic urticaria.The medicine belongs to the group of antihistamines and is used for allergic diseases that are associated with increased histamine release.
Active ingredients and ingredients
The active ingredient in Loratadine STADA 10 mg tablets is loratadine.Each tablet contains 10 mg of loratadine.The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate and corn starch.Please note that the product contains lactose.
Dosage and application
Always take Loratadine STADA exactly as described in the package leaflet or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.The tablet is taken orally and can be swallowed with a glass of water, regardless of meals.The score line is only used to divide the tablet to make swallowing easier and not for dosage.
The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years of age and for children aged 2 to 12 years weighing more than 30 kg is 1 tablet once a day.The tablet is not suitable for children weighing 30 kg or less.The effectiveness and safety in children under 2 years of age have not been established.Patients with severe liver damage should take the tablet every other day.
If you forget to take a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible and continue taking it as usual.Do not exceed the recommended dose unless your doctor has prescribed a different dosage.
Intake
Loratadine STADA 10 mg tablets are taken orally.Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.It can be taken regardless of meals.
Patient information
Particular caution is required in patients with severe hepatic impairment.If you plan to have a skin test, you should stop using loratadine at least 48 hours beforehand.In very rare cases, some people may experience dizziness, which may impair the ability to drive or use machines.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
