The Visomat Comfort Form blood pressure monitor is a fully automatic upper arm device that is equipped with a unique universal cup cuff.This pre-shaped shell makes it particularly easy to put on the cuff, which wraps around your arm as if by itself.The cuff is suitable for normal to extra strong arms with a circumference of 23 to 43 cm.No prescription is required for this product.

The universal shell cuff is skin-friendly and is suitable for the whole family.It has a cuff fit control that reduces the risk of incorrect donning.There is also a motion control with a warning display that is activated if there is movement during the measurement.

Special features

The blood pressure monitor offers validated measurement accuracy in accordance with the German industrial standard EN ISO 81060-2 and the European Hypertension League (ESH).It has a Fuzzy Logic function that enables intelligent inflation without re-inflation.The device also detects and displays irregular pulse waves (arrhythmia control).A traffic light function makes it easier to classify blood pressure values, and the pulse pressure display provides information about isolated systolic hypertension.The device has two user memories with 120 storage locations each and an average value display.The date and time can be switched on and the device comes with a three-year guarantee.

Area of application

The device is intended for the non-invasive measurement of systolic and diastolic blood pressure, the determination of the pulse rate and the calculation of the pulse pressure in adults.It uses the oscillometric method to measure blood pressure and pulse.The cuff is connected to the device and placed on the arm.A sensor measures the small pressure oscillations created by the expansion and contraction of the arteries with each heartbeat.The amplitude of the pressure waves is measured, converted into millimeters of mercury (mmHg) and shown on the display as a digital value.

The pulse and pulse pressure display provides information about the elasticity of the vessels.The device has cuff fit and movement control as well as storage of measured values for two users.A traffic light function makes it easier to classify blood pressure values.There is also a USB-connection for a PC-evaluation software (Windows®).The device has a clinically validated measurement accuracy according to EN ISO 81060-2:2014 and a validated measurement accuracy from the European Hypertension League (ESH).The guarantee is five years.
