Areas of application

The Aurica marigold flower tea is used both internally and externally.Internally it is used to treat inflammatory changes in the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat.It is used externally to treat wounds, including those with poor healing tendencies, as well as lower leg ulcers.

Dosage instructions and method of application

For use in the mouth area, the tea is rinsed or gargled with a warm infusion 2 to 3 times a day.For wound treatment, compresses with the infusion are prepared 2 to 3 times a day.The infusion is made by pouring boiling water (approx. 150 ml) over 1 to 2 teaspoons of marigold flowers (approx. 0.8 to 1.6 g) and, if necessary, straining them through a tea strainer after about 10 to 15 minutes.

Contraindications

There are no known contraindications.However, there are no sufficient studies on the use of marigold flowers during pregnancy and breastfeeding or in children under 12 years of age.Therefore, preparations made from marigold flowers should not be used by these groups of people.

Notes

If the symptoms of mild inflammation of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat last longer than a week, recur or if unclear symptoms occur, you should consult a doctor.If the edges of the wound are severely red, or if the wounds are large, weeping or infected with purulence, you should consult a doctor.

Keep medicines out of the reach of children and protected from light and moisture.Do not use after the expiry date.
