Copyrkal tablets: Information for use Copyrkal 400 mg/50 mg tablets are used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe pain. The tablets contain the active ingredients paracetamol and caffeine. Certain factors should be considered before taking Copyrkal. It should not be taken if you are allergic to paracetamol, caffeine or other ingredients of the medicine, or in children under 12 years of age or weighing less than 43 kg. People with certain medical conditions such as liver inflammation, cardiac arrhythmias or stomach or intestinal ulcers should consult their doctor before taking the medicine. The concomitant use of other medicines should also be discussed with the doctor or pharmacist. Copyrkal tablets should be taken according to the instructions in the package leaflet. The dosage depends on the patient's body weight or age and the dosing interval depends on the symptoms and the maximum total daily dose. It is important not to continue taking it for more than 3 days unless otherwise advised by the doctor. Side effects may occur, although not everybody gets them. Possible side effects include a slight increase in certain liver enzymes and allergic reactions. At the first sign of hypersensitivity reactions, the medicine should be discontinued and a doctor contacted. Copyrkal tablets should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date. The medicine should be disposed of in accordance with the pharmacist's instructions.
