Folic acid Hevert tablets contain the active ingredient folic acid and are intended for the treatment of folic acid deficiency conditions that cannot be remedied by changing your diet.These can be caused by malnutrition or malnutrition, chronic alcoholism, gastrointestinal diseases, increased folic acid requirements such as during pregnancy or breastfeeding, certain medications or chronic blood loss.The preparation can also be used in cases of anemia due to folic acid deficiency (megaloblastic anemia).No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each tablet contains 5 mg of folic acid as the active ingredient.Cellulose powder, lactose-1-water, magnesium stearate, highly disperse silicon dioxide and talc are included as excipients.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to folic acid or any of the other ingredients.Before use for megaloblastic anemia, the cause must be clarified and a possible vitamin B12 deficiency must be ruled out.

Dosage and application

Adults take 1-3 tablets daily, without chewing, with meals and a little liquid as needed.The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.The duration of treatment depends on the extent of the folic acid deficiency and is determined by the doctor.

Side effects

Possible side effects can include allergic reactions, skin redness, itching, bronchial spasms, nausea, circulatory failure, sleep disorders, agitation, depression and gastrointestinal complaints.If you experience any discomfort or changes during treatment, you should consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Important notes

The medicine should be protected from heat, moisture and light and kept out of the reach of children.It must no longer be used after the expiry date.If you have lactose intolerance or are on a diabetic diet, the sugar content should be taken into account.
