Instructions for use for OCTENISEPT Solution, 250 ml

Octenisept solution is an antiseptic for wound disinfection and supportive wound treatment. It effectively protects against infections of acute and chronic wounds as well as burn wounds on skin and mucous membrane. The broad spectrum of action of the antiseptic helps to eliminate bacteria, fungi and certain viruses. Octenisept solution is colourless and generally painless to use, which makes it suitable for infants and premature babies. The solution is applied directly to the area to be disinfected and left to act for at least one minute. It is important not to rinse the product off with water. Octenisept solution can also be used before diagnostic and surgical procedures on skin and mucous membrane surfaces. The product should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. It must also not be used in the abdominal cavity, in the urinary bladder and on the eardrum.
