Information for use of the article Nystaderm Creme: - Important information: Nystaderm cream contains the active substance nystatin and is used to treat fungal infections caused by yeasts (Candida), such as fungal infections of the skin, fungal infections in the folds of the body and fungal infections of the mucous membranes, including nappy dermatitis. - Dosage and directions for use: The cream should be applied thinly to the affected areas of the skin 2-4 times a day and rubbed in gently. The duration of treatment is usually 2-3 weeks. In case of an overdose, skin rash, itching and burning may occur. If an application is forgotten, the cream should be continued normally at the next prescribed time. - Contraindications: Nystaderm cream must not be used if you are hypersensitive to nystatin or any of the other ingredients. As a rule, the medicine should not be used in premature babies. There are no known harmful effects during pregnancy and breastfeeding. - Side effects: So far, side effects have only occurred in rare cases.
