Instructions for use for Fungicide ratiopharm cream, 50 g
Fungicide ratiopharm® cream - for the gentle treatment of athlete's foot
Athlete's foot is usually very unpleasant. An outbreak often occurs after being in a warm, humid place - such as.B. a public swimming pool - or has otherwise come into contact with fungal spores. But a weakened immune system or a damaged acid mantle in the skin can also be a trigger.Athlete's foot usually does not heal on its own and must be treated. Not only because it is accompanied by unpleasant itching, oozing or peeling skin, but also because the infection can spread and, for example, affect the toenails or infect other people.
Fungicide-ratiopharm® Cream treats fungal infections caused by dermatophytes, yeasts (e.g. Candida species) and molds. The cream is effective for athlete's foot, erythrasma, pityriasis versicolor and superficial yeast diseases (candidiasis). It is applied to the affected skin areas 2 to 3 times a day.
Mode of action
Skin fungal pathogens are present everywhere and usually do not pose a threat. Only when the immune system is weakened, for example due to stress or illness, or when the skin flora is disturbed, do the fungal pathogens find a target. The active ingredient clotrimazole contained in Fungizid-ratiopharm® Cream inhibits the formation of the outer shell of the fungi and thus prevents them from multiplying.Clotrimazole also has an antibacterial effect.
Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients
1 g of cream contains 10 mg of clotrimazole.Other ingredients of Fungizid-ratiopharm® Cream are cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, benzyl alcohol, alkyl (C14-C18)(do-decanoate, tetradecanoate, palmitate, = stearate) and purified water.
