Fungicide ratiopharm® cream - for the gentle treatment of athlete's foot

Athlete's foot is an unpleasant disease that often occurs after spending time in warm, humid environments such as public swimming pools or through contact with fungal spores.A weakened immune system or a damaged acid mantle in the skin can also be the cause.Athlete's foot usually does not heal on its own and requires treatment to relieve itching, oozing, or peeling skin and to prevent the infection from spreading.Fungicide ratiopharm® cream is effective against fungal infections caused by dermatophytes, yeasts such as Candida species and molds.

Application and dosage

Fungizid-ratiopharm® Cream contains the active ingredient clotrimazole, which inhibits the reproduction of fungal pathogens.The active ingredient is effective against various types of fungi such as dermatophytes, yeasts and molds.For successful treatment, it is important to proceed consistently and disciplined.The cream is applied to the affected skin area 2 to 3 times a day.Treatment should continue for approximately two weeks after symptoms have subsided.The cream can also be used for fungal infections in the intimate area.After application, hands should be cleaned thoroughly to avoid transfer of fungal spores.

Mode of action

Skin fungal pathogens are present everywhere, but usually do not pose a danger. They can only spread if the immune system is weakened or the skin flora is disturbed.The active ingredient clotrimazole in Fungizid-ratiopharm® Cream inhibits the formation of the outer shell of the fungi and prevents them from reproducing.The active ingredient also has an antibacterial effect.

Active ingredients and ingredients

1 Gram of the cream contains 10 milligrams of clotrimazole.Other ingredients include cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, benzyl alcohol, alkyl (C14-C18)(dodecanoate, tetradecanoate, palmitate, stearate) and purified water.
