Charcoal Compretten tablets are a medicine used to treat acute diarrhoea and to prevent absorption in oral poisoning. It also speeds up the elimination of toxins from the body. The tablets contain the active ingredient medicinal charcoal. It is important to take the tablets according to the package leaflet. For adults, 2-4 tablets are recommended 3-4 times a day. For children, the recommended dose is half. The tablets should be taken with liquid or dissolved in water and taken. The duration of treatment should not exceed 2-3 days for diarrhoea and as advised by a doctor for poisoning. Side effects such as constipation may occur, especially at high doses.
