HEPAPHROMB 30000 is a cream containing heparin sodium and is used for the supportive treatment of swelling after injuries such as sprains, bruises and contusions. It is also used to treat superficial phlebitis. The cream should be applied to the affected area of skin 2-3 times a day, not exceeding the total dose. The duration of application is usually 10 days. Side effects are rare but may include allergic reactions, redness and itching of the skin. The cream also contains parabens, which may cause hypersensitivity reactions. The medicine should not be used if there is an allergy to heparin sodium or open wounds. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. There are no known interactions with other medicinal products used topically. It is recommended to keep the medicinal product out of the reach of children and not to use it after the expiry date. The cream is available in packs of 50 g, 100 g and 150 g.
