Instructions for use for Lactulose ratiopharm syrup, 500 ml
Lactulose-ratiopharm® syrup: Gentle and well-tolerated support for constipation
Digestive problems such as constipation make it difficult to empty the bowels and are often accompanied by a feeling of fullness, abdominal pain and pain during bowel movements.Possible triggers include a low-fiber diet, an unfamiliar environment, stress or hormonal changes - for example during menopause or pregnancy.Lactulose-ratiopharm® syrup can counteract constipation: The lactulose binds water in the intestines, making the stool softer and making it easier to empty the intestines. In this way, the constipation can be gently resolved and the accompanying symptoms subside, so that general well-being improves.
The syrup is characterized by good tolerability because the active ingredient lactulose is not absorbed by the body. This means there is only a low risk of interactions.Lactulose-ratiopharm® syrup is suitable for acute symptoms - it should only be taken over a longer period of time after consulting a doctor. It is suitable for adults, adolescents and children - administration to children under 14 years of age should be done in consultation with a doctor. The syrup can also be taken during pregnancy. The included dosing cup makes the syrup easy to dose and easy to take, especially for people with swallowing difficulties.
No prescription is required for this product.
