Canifug solution 1% is a medicine used to treat fungal skin infections.It is effective against dermatophytes, yeasts such as Candida species, molds and other pathogens such as Malassezia furfur.These fungal infections can manifest themselves as mycoses of the feet, skin and skin folds, as superficial candidiasis or as pityriasis versicolor (bran fungus).

Application

The solution is sprayed onto the affected skin areas 2 to 3 times a day.Even for large-scale fungal infections, 1-2 sprays are sufficient.Regular and sufficiently long use is important for the success of the treatment.The duration of treatment depends on the extent and location of the disease.

Notes

Canifug solution 1% contains propylene glycol.Please note the package leaflet.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: Clotrimazole.Each 1 ml spray contains 10 mg clotrimazole.Other ingredients: Macrogol 400, isopropanol, propylene glycol.

The solution contains 0.01 g of clotrimazole as the active ingredient.Excipients are isopropyl alcohol, macrogol 400 and 546 mg propylene glycol.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients.It should not be used on the breast area during breastfeeding.

Dosage

Always use the solution exactly as described or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.The solution is sprayed thinly onto the affected skin areas 2 to 3 times a day.The duration of treatment depends on the extent and location of the disease.In the case of athlete's foot, treatment should be continued for about 2 weeks after the symptoms have subsided.With a larger amount, no side effects are to be expected.Next time, continue the treatment with the normal amount.If you forget to use it, do not use a double dose.Continue treatment with the usual amount the next time you use it.Do not stop using it without consulting your doctor or pharmacist.

Intake

The solution is a spray for use on the skin.Before using for the first time, remove the cap from the spray head and press the spray head down several times until an even spray mist is created.Bring the bottle to a spray distance of 10 - 30 cm from the affected skin area and press the spray head 1 to 2 times with each application.Rub in the applied solution and then put the cap back on the spray head.If you have athlete's foot, the spaces between your toes should be dried thoroughly after each wash.
