Moronal film-coated tablets are an antifungal medicine used to treat fungal infections, especially in the gastrointestinal tract. They are used to treat yeast infections caused by medicines such as antibiotics, cortisone or cytostatics. Moronal film-coated tablets are also used as adjunctive therapy in the local treatment of candidiasis of the skin and mucous membranes. It is recommended to take Moronal Film-Coated Tablets after meals with liquid. The recommended dose for adults is 1-2 film-coated tablets, three times a day. The duration of use is usually 2 weeks or as long as the treatment with the other medicines continues. Possible side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort and skin reactions. Moronal film-coated tablets contain the active substance nystatin and excipients such as lactose and silicon dioxide. There are no known interactions with other medicines.
