Areas of application

Solidago Steiner® tablets are a herbal medicine that is used to flush the urinary tract in the case of inflammatory diseases of the urinary tract, urinary stones and kidney semolina.It is also used as a preventive treatment for urinary stones and kidney stones.The product is suitable for children aged 12 and over and adults.No prescription is required for this product.

Mode of action

The active ingredient in Solidago Steiner® tablets is a dry extract from goldenrod herb.This herbal remedy has an anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and rinsing effect.It promotes the self-cleaning process of the urinary tract and relieves typical symptoms such as burning when urinating, constant urge to urinate and pelvic cramps.The rinsing effect helps to flush out bacteria, while the anti-inflammatory properties provide direct irritation relief.

Each tablet contains 300 mg dry extract of goldenrod (5-7:1), using ethanol 60% (v/v) as the extractant.The other ingredients are magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.), crospovidone, precipitated silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose and highly dispersed silicon dioxide.

Dosage

The recommended dose for adults and children aged 12 and over is one tablet 4 to 5 times daily.The tablets should be swallowed whole with plenty of liquid, such as a glass of water, with or without meals.The duration of use is not generally limited, but you should consult a doctor if symptoms persist or recur.

Intake

Take the tablets whole with plenty of liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water) with or without meals.

Patient information

If you don't feel better or feel worse after 5 days, contact your doctor.If you have blood in your urine, fever or symptoms that persist for more than 5 days, you should see a doctor.Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

Contraindications

Solidago Steiner® tablets must not be taken if you are allergic to goldenrod or any of the other ingredients.The medicine should also not be used if you have water retention (edema) due to heart or kidney weakness.The medicine should not be used in children under 12 years of age.Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Storage

Keep the medicine out of the reach and reach of children and do not store it above 25°C.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the carton and blister.Do not dispose of medicines in wastewater.Ask your pharmacist how to throw away medicine if you no longer use it.
