Application

To obtain accurate readings, you should follow the following instructions:

Avoid bathing, drinking alcohol and caffeine, smoking, exercising and eating 30 minutes before the measurement.Rest for at least five minutes before measuring.Avoid taking measurements at stressful times and take them in a quiet place.Free your arm and record your blood pressure and pulse readings for your doctor.A single measurement does not reflect an accurate picture of your true blood pressure.Take multiple measurements over time and record the measurements.Try to measure your blood pressure at the same time every day for consistent results.
