The DHU Magnesium phosphoricum Pentarkan tablets are used to treat painful menstrual bleeding. They contain the mineral salt magnesium phosphoricum and natural active ingredients from camomile, horse chestnut, coloquine and goose cinquefoil. These active ingredients have an analgesic and antispasmodic effect, which means they can help with painful periods. The tablets are well tolerated and can be taken without water. The dosage depends on the symptoms. In acute cases, 1 tablet is taken every half hour to hour, but no more than 6 times a day. In chronic cases, 1 tablet is taken 1 to 3 times a day. The tablet is taken half an hour before or after a meal and is allowed to dissolve slowly in the mouth. The duration of use should not exceed one week, unless this is agreed with a homeopathic therapist. The tablets contain lactose and wheat starch and should therefore only be taken after consulting a doctor in case of intolerance.
