Terzolin® 2% solution offers a medical and effective treatment for dandruff.The active ingredient ketoconazole (2%) inhibits fungal growth and thus prevents the formation of dandruff.The solution is anti-inflammatory and anti-itch and is also suitable for the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis and pityriasis versicolor.The effect begins with the first application and can help relieve itching and combat dandruff in the long term.

Due to its properties, the active ingredient is not water-soluble and remains on the scalp after washing.There it develops a residual effect that lasts up to two weeks, even if normal shampoos are used in parallel with further hair washing.The Terzolin® 2% solution has been helping those affected for over 30 years.

Application recommendation

Apply a small amount of Terzolin® 2% solution to wet hair, apply like a shampoo and leave on for 3 to 5 minutes.Then rinse thoroughly.

For the treatment of dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis, Terzolin® 2% solution should be used twice a week for 2 to 4 weeks.Treatment of pityriasis versicolor lasts 1-5 days, during which the medicine is used daily.

To prevent the recurrence of dandruff, the solution should be used once a week or every two weeks for 3 to 6 months.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, this product should not be used.

Patient information

Avoid contact of the medicine with your eyes! If the medicine gets into your eyes, rinse them with plenty of water.

If you are currently using external cortisone-containing medicines due to your symptoms, then ask your doctor or pharmacy.You can start using the medicine immediately, but you should not stop using the medicine containing cortisone from one day to the next.Your skin may react with redness or itching.Follow the treatment regimen: use the cortisone-containing medicine at the same dose for one week, reduce the frequency of use of the cortisone-containing medicine for one to two more weeks, and then stop using the cortisone-containing medicine.
