Terzolin 2% solution is a fungicidal medicine for the external treatment of skin lesions such as dandruff, redness and itching. It is used for seborrhoeic dermatitis and lichen of Kleienpilz. The solution should be applied to the affected areas of the body and left on for 3-5 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with warm water. The duration of treatment is usually 2-4 weeks for seborrhoeic dermatitis and up to 5 days for Kleienpilzflechte. To prevent recurrence, Terzolin can be used once every 7 or 14 days for 3-6 months. It is important not to exceed the recommended dosage. Terzolin must not be ingested or get into the eyes. Side effects may include allergic skin reactions such as redness, itching and burning. People who are allergic to the ingredients should not use the medicine. Pregnant women should consult their doctor before use. It should be stored away from heat. Terzolin is available in packs containing 20 mg ketoconazole per 1 ml solution.
