Terzolin 2% solution is a fungicidal medicine for the topical treatment of inflammatory skin lesions such as dandruff, redness and itching (seborrhoeic dermatitis) and pityriasis versicolor. It contains the active ingredient ketoconazole. The solution should always be used according to the package leaflet and should only be used on the skin and scalp. The recommended dosage for adults and adolescents varies depending on the disease and is either one handful 2 times a week for 2-4 weeks or one handful 1 time a day for 1-5 days. To reduce the recurrence of symptoms, the solution can be used once every 7 or 14 days for 3-6 months. Terzolin 2% solution should not be swallowed. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted in case of possible overdoses or questions about use. The solution should be protected from children and not stored above 25°C.
