Ciclopirox beta 80mg/g is a nail polish containing active ingredients that is used to treat fungal nail infections, also known as onychomycoses.The active ingredient ciclopirox belongs to the group of antimycotics and penetrates the nail plate to have a fungal killing effect on the most common causes of nail fungus.No prescription is required for this product.

Area of application

Nail fungus can cause severe damage to the nail structure and visual changes if it is not treated in a timely manner.Unsightly toenails become visible, especially in summer, when open shoes or walking barefoot expose your feet.Nail fungus affects the toenails more often than the fingernails, which is due to the warm, humid climate in shoes and frequent small injuries to the feet.

Contraindications

Dosage

Apply a thin layer of nail polish to the affected nail once daily.Before the first application, affected parts of the nail should be removed with scissors and heavily callused areas should be removed with a disposable nail file.During treatment, you should remove the varnish layer once a week with an alcohol swab and file off calloused material again.The duration of treatment should not exceed six months.

Apply the nail polish to the affected nail once a day.Before the first use, remove affected parts of the nail and heavily calloused areas.Close the bottle carefully after each use to prevent the solution from drying out.Make sure that the solution does not come into contact with the screw thread of the bottle to avoid sticking the cap.
