Instructions for use for NUROFEN Junior fever and pain juice strawberry 40 mg/ml, 100 ml
NUROFEN® Junior Fever and Pain Juice Strawberry 40 mg/ml - Effective against fever and pain
The NUROFEN® Junior Fever & Pain Juice 40 mg/ml is a liquid ibuprofen suspension for fever & pain relief in children aged 3 months and over and weighing 5 kg or more.It ensures quick and long-lasting fever reduction - in 15 minutes for up to 8 hours. It is available in strawberry and orange flavors, both of which are well received by children. Thanks to the included dosing syringe, the suspension can be dosed precisely and safely according to age and weight. The fever juice is free of lactose, gluten, dyes, sugar and alcohol and is therefore particularly well tolerated.
Fever
Fever is more common in children, toddlers and babies than in adolescents and adults. If the temperature is over 38.5 °C, it is called fever. In newborns younger than 1 month, even 38 °C is considered a fever. It is caused by the body fighting an underlying infection because elevated temperatures make it harder for bacteria and viruses to multiply.Common causes of fever in children, babies and toddlers include the flu, colds, gastrointestinal infections, middle ear infections, urinary tract or kidney infections, or vaccinations.
Teething
When teething, your baby's first teeth begin to push through the gums. This can cause the gums to become red, sore, and painful. This process takes approximately 8 days per tooth, which roughly includes the 4 days before and after the tooth erupts.
Headache
It's not just adults who suffer from headaches - children and teenagers can get them too. However, children can often experience headaches - also called cephalgia - differently than adults, which means they can go unnoticed.Headaches in children can be accompanied by stomach and back pain, and migraines can also be accompanied by nausea.
How does NUROFEN® Junior fever and pain juice work?
NUROFEN® contains the active ingredient ibuprofen, which has anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving and fever-reducing effects.Ibuprofen reduces the formation of prostaglandins, the body's own messenger substances that are increasingly released when tissue is injured or illnesses occur.Prostaglandins increase the sensitivity of surrounding nerves to pain so your body can quickly detect that something is wrong. They also cause inflammation and swelling of the tissue and are involved in the development of fever.
